I purchased the lifetime plan so that I would not have to pay a monthly fee. It was more financially secure for me to buy the lifetime plan than paying something monthly when I am paycheck to paycheck as a single mother I have to be selective on what I purchase. I have a two-year-old son that is consistently Playing with the remotes and then I lose them. Having this application was an initial convenience that quickly turned into more frustration when there were days that I couldn’t use my TV at all because the application was my last resort and would not cooperate. When I attempted to use this application recently, it prompted me to leave a review or contact help. So I’m going to leave this dissatisfied review. There are times that the application will completely disconnect from the TV even in the middle of me using it just an instant ago. And then I’m prompted to leave a review? I’m going to leave constructive criticism that reflect my experience. I would rather just glue Velcro onto the back of my TV remotes and stick them on a wall where my son cannot reach them and I think I will do that moving forward.
Works Good, main reason I use this instead of the remote in my quick settings is the ability to actually type and not have to click every word individually and it also has quick access bottoms like actual remote as well is nice but I hate paying 40 dollars a month. Paying 25 a month seems more reasonable really 20 but I’d take 30 too over the 40 a year, I don’t know if the the monthly pay options are the same or more hope it’s not more lol. But being able to search without it being painfully time consuming is very desired sine that is my “escape time” and the more enjoyable it is the better.
Please read before downloading the app!!!! I never do app reviews, but it’s gotten to the point where I have to. As you know, lots of people lose their TV remotes in the couch cushions in blankets like it’s a normal thing well what if in the event you are sick and your body hurts to move and you’ve been stuck on the couch for a week now and you lose your TV remote but you wanna sit and watch TV and you see there’s an app where you can use your phone to control your TV when I saw this, I immediately thought that’s great now if I lose my remote, I know it’s on my phone and I’ll still be able to look for my remote, but I’m able to continue watching my show on my TV with my phone remote and go to the reviews as the app is downloading and quickly come to see that not many people like the app so I decide to go see what’s going on and I’m not even able to sync the app to my TV without it asking for me to pay. I hit the exit at the top and I can’t even press the button without asking for money. what if I am short on money but still wanna watch my Netflix series please get back to me as soon as possible but this is not OK and I really hope that you take my review and finally understand that loads of customers are upset about not being able to controller TV from their phone
