Illinois Storm Chasers

I appreciate the service these guys provide and have been following on Facebook for years. The app in itself leaves a little bit to be desired. The menu is crowded and difficult for a quick read. The forecast themselves could be a little more in depth. I do like the radar and find it interesting that all the major weather apps radar is always different. I paid for a year of no ad service and recently started getting ads again , I find this disappointing and distasteful.

Last night we had to pull the kiddos out of bed and make for the basement when our tornado sirens went off. As soon as we were all settled I pulled up this app and jumped to the radar. Radar popped up right away and I could clearly see from the warning overlay that the tornado was north of us. I reassured my kids that we were not in the path and were going to be fine. Then I tried to pop open a second weather app I had to confirm the tornado’s position. I gave up when I couldn’t get their radar to load for over two minutes. In severe weather it’s important to get information as fast as possible and this app does that. Your passion for weather shines through with this app. Keep up the good work!

Love the app! Loads quickly and all of the information I always look for is right there on the main page. Love the bonus of the 8.5 hour weather sounds library! Great job with version 1!!
