The content for the application was good, and the core functions are there, but how sessions are organized, appear on my agenda, and a number of other features left a lot to be desired. Icing on the cake was the app continually logged me out, and app performance was just generally laggy and slow. My Agenda: this was the most problematic feature to me - I would expect that as a base, when I open my agenda, it would at LEAST jump to the current day, or have tabs at the top of the page to let me jump to a day. Almost every time I opened my agenda, I had to scroll through the ~200 sessions I had saved - completely unintuitive. Sessions - same as agenda- defaulting to jump to the current time/day would be a HUGE improvement, but at least the sessions view allows you to select the day intuitively at the top. The Map - is SUPER slow to load every time anything is moved, and then as I was navigating around, the map kept refocusing on my current location, so I’d get dragged back across the expo-hall to wherever I was standing, whenever I was trying to figure out what was going on in the Wynn… I’ve used the same app for other conferences, and faced the same problems… All that said, other than the logouts, the app was fairly reliable and I could (eventually) pull up session info and the map when I needed to.
