Played the game and bonus on expert and set all available puzzle options to hard. I was able to complete everything without hints or skipping. Several of these puzzles were quite difficult so it felt like a real sense of accomplishment to complete the game. There was one glitch and that was a simple task of organizing and aligning 5 blocks that have images with birds. I had them perfectly aligned and it took numerous slight adjustments for the game to accept the alignment. This should be fixed.
UPDATE: I have already played and rated the game. But I have some extremely important and exciting news. I brokered a deal between Friendly Fox and Nenad Tomic, the former CEO of Mad Head games. Remember Mad Head? They had unusual, enjoyable and very quirky gameplay. Well, now Nenad will have a legacy and FF will be a distributor of these full-length CE games. The first one will be released in the next day or so. It’s Wanderlust 4: The Bermuda Secret. I am finally getting redemption from Oleg and the EIPIX fiasco. Now you will be able to enjoy Collector’s Edition games and not have to squander money on Domini’s episodes, if you choose not to. I kindly request that you purchase this first game in order to show support for not only Friendly Fox, but me as well. I do expect some gratitude. I have worked hard to ensure that this deal happened. Fun fact: Oleg wanted these games. Can you imagine? We would never have seen these either! Enjoy, and happy birthday to me!
Bird’s Nest Castle is “not for the birds,” but rather a place that is “unpheasant” and “hawkward,” making you feel like you’re “quacking up.” You intend on a pleasant visit with your sister and her husband at the castle; however, upon your arrival, you are met with an afflicted, frightened young maid who warns you of ominous occurrences. You observe the seemingly otherwise abandoned castle in a state of disarray, with overgrown vines creeping through the windows and debris indiscriminately strewn all over the grounds. It doesn’t take long to become suspicious of those deceptive, deadly aesthetic wonders hanging on the walls, as the paintings have a sinister “mind” of their own. You and your oh-so-good-looking brother-in-law team up to find your sister and save her from Bluebeard’s curse before it’s too late. I haven’t played any games recently, so I was surprised at playing from a male’s perspective, a refreshing diversion from the norm. I like the integration of Bluebeard’s backstory, as divulged from your little bluebird helper. The creative gameplay is impressive throughout. The puzzles provide enough diversity and entertainment to pique my attention. I liked the one in which you remove thorns to guide the glove along the path from flower to flower to remove them all. The HOSs are composed of varying formats to keep them interesting. I love the storybook-oriented scene in which you find an old book and flip the pages while finding photographs, letters, and other articles of remembrance. The map is user-friendly, showing active objectives within the scenes, if applicable. The right-hand-side pull-out tab will record your collectibles’ status. Transition is seamless; no glitches to report. An adept developer releases well-rounded games, offering the key elements players yearn. Thank you for caring about us and providing enjoyment throughout these trying times. I rate this game a well-deserved five stars.
