Traverse - Learn Effectively

I just started using this app this week. When I logged in yesterday, I received a message that an update is required. When I go to the App Store to update, there are no updates available. I can’t cancel this prompt to update. I had to uninstall and reinstall. even though there are bugs, I used ankimobile and ankiapp this weekend. So far I like traverse better because it compliments Mandarin Blueprint quite well compared to the others. I like adding pictures and traverse makes it easy to include.

I started to experience issues too. I have not made so many cards yet. Here is what I know: choose lowest res pictures and simple graphics possible. Make sure your internet connection is solid not using mobile data. The last part is by logging in to the web interface there are more options. See if your mass delete can happen there. If all else does not work reach out to their support. I’m not an employee… just an end user like you.

I like the interface of this app a lot and the concept in theory, but there are so many issues. I’m forced to use this app in tandem with Mandarin Blueprint and on every single device I use the site and/or app is incredibly laggy. I think it’s partially because I have a massive backlog of flashcards but it was laggy before that. And I can’t even find a way to mass delete flash cards. There are about 2,500 flashcards I want to get rid of it but literally have to do it one by one with “never show me this again.” If I try to do it individually it takes like five minutes to load each one. Sometimes in the app it randomly just refreshes or cuts off part of the text or the audio stops working suddenly. I really like the ability to add photos and how customizable it is and the SRS options but it’s just sooooooo laggy.
