The Quiet Collection

I have been listening to the Quiet Collection since inception and it’s been a source of comfort, peace, and truth in some of the darkest days of my life. The Advent Quiet Collection companions me every Advent season. I relisten to all of them and anticipate her new releases when they drop. Christmas is more grounded and hopeful because of the truth packed in each year’s collection. Hellos and Goodbyes have been helpful for seasons of change when discernment is needed. And I listen to the Morning Prayer regularly as I wait for my coffee to brew. The Borrowed Prayers guide me into each new day with fresh hope and the right perspective. I would love if Emily added the complete Serenity Prayer. I’ve secretly wanted this one in audio for years! Thank you to Emily and the team for keeping us centered on truth and God’s hope in a world full of distractions and detours!

I have been listening to The Quiet Collection since the very first advent collection in 2017 and it’s now become a part of my holiday tradition. I have never been able to stick to a devotional all the way through (the holidays are just too much!) but listening to something is so much easier. Emily’s calming voice is perfect and the music combined is simply lovely. Her advent series helps me quiet down and reflect on the year, my life and the real reason for the season, as cheesy as that sounds! Her other audio series are great too. I love yo listen on my walks or drives when I don’t want to be alone but don’t necessarily want noise either. Thank you Emily! ❤️

I can’t think of an adequate title for this review because this app/content is just too good. While most apps are created to be addictive in a detrimental way, this one is addictive in that it’s what your soul craves. To meet with Jesus, to hear from His word, to quiet your mind and heart for just a few moments— this is what our souls truly need. Emily has written and developed an incredible collection of peaceful meditations that center our hearts back toward Christ and who He is to us in all our moments, past, present, and future. I can’t recommend this app or the Christmas collection within it enough. I’m really looking forward to more content. And the music is so lovely as well! Thank you for this.
