Reviews: What People Think About Taxes Suck: USA Federal State

This is a great app! Very simple and easy to use. No CPA necessary! I hate the uncertainty of how much to withhold and wondering if I’m going to owe at the end of the year. Once you enter some basic info this app shows how much federal and state tax you should be prepared to pay. No more guessing. So helpful! I also love that there are no ads/in app purchases.

At last, a simple FREE application for estimating both your Federal and State taxes without having to through hoops to input the most basic information. Very handy and will use every year!
You can get an estimate in less than 30 seconds and no need to create online accounts like so many others ask you to! A must try!
The author actively updates it too!

This is a great tax planning tool. Easy to use and up to date. One suggestion would be a Landscape view for IPad. A+
Update: Landscape added!! Many thanks for the quick response.

- Taxes Suck on most states calculates tax on state taxable income at ordinary state tax rates. This should overestimate taxes due if your state has favorable rates on certain types of income.
- I plan to add a more complete calculation for state income tax in the future, but I wanted to get the app released sooner rather than later, and I believe it gives a reasonable estimate for most people in its current build.
