Veriswap: Secure Card Trading

The app is exactly what we need in the trading world. The fees are a little high and add up quickly. I believe they’re going up more than they started at. I traded $1000 in cards and it was over $70 in fees so I think that’s a little ridiculous. However, I do love this app and I’ve done a lot of trading. The search function is very difficult. It would be nice if you could match your interest & someone else together. As an example if I’m looking for a one piece card, but I only have Baseball Cards to trade. It would be nice to know who has a one piece card and is willing to take Baseball through the search, criteria’s not having to look at every single card to see what preferences people have. This is a start up so I give them a lot of slack and believe that they’re going to catch up to the demand and the necessary requirements for this app to be highly competitive.

I have nothing but great things to say about the app itself and the concept. However, the amount of dishonest people on this app is overwhelming, and there is no accountability held for those people. I’ve had more deals canceled than actually approved and it takes 3 to 4 weeks to receive your cards. There are also scammers that try to entice you with lower prices by paying them through different payment sources. There seems to be little to no oversight and no subsequent consequences by not abiding to the deadlines and rules of the app. When people flake on deals, you get an automated notice from Veriswap offering their “apologies.” There is now a place that shows when people cancel on their profiles, but all people are doing is deleting those profiles and creating new ones. There should be a monetary penalty for canceling, and people should be tracked by something other than email accounts and barred from the app after a threshold of cancellations. Update: the original reviews on here have to be fake from companies that hire people to write reviews (look it up). This app is the ultimate scam. You pay upfront and they hold your money for almost a month before (or if) you ever receive your cards. It appears that the majority of the profiles are either fake or bots because the app claims that the profile is active and will respond within a day, however no one ever responds but Veriswap is more than willing to take your money. After all of my pending transactions are canceled (some of which are 2-3 weeks old) I’m deleting this app and trading the old fashion way with real people.

5 stars for the app itself. I hear many complaints here, so I can only give my experience. I’ve made 13 trades worth 20k total in value over the past year (and I’m a small time collector.) Sure the fees are kinda steep and the processing time varies widely from great to horrible…but I now own cards that I would otherwise NEVER be able to afford. I need to stress this: that is an amazing gift to give a collector. The power to have an app on your phone capable of turning your mediocre collection of MANY cards into a carefully tailored collection of your own personal grail cards. My collection is now much smaller, but packs some HEAVY hitters - which was the goal. So thank you all for that. You guys do great work. My only gripe is with the new patch/update. There are numerous features that are now either lagging or stopped working altogether. Please fix this asap! I see that you guys usually do an update 1x per month. Can you please do a 911 fix in this case? This app works so much better the way it was directly prior to this last update. Pleaseeeee hear me on this!
