I’ve been using this app for a few months now and I mostly love it (not mostly like it). The categories are hefty, the recording quality of the Danish words is excellent. Dig into this app and leave it going in the, subway or shower and you’ll realize you’re learning hundreds of words. I hope they don’t mind me saying that you’ll need to pair it with something else in order to conjugation etc but it more than gives you words and phrases that you can quickly put to use and will help you recognize phrases used around you. The only thing I would love for them to add is a way to quickly remove words from the favorited list or a way to make a custom grouping of words This is my favorite app on my phone and will be for a long time.
Super easy to memorize words hands-free while you do other tasks around the house, i.e. Washing dishes or folding laundry. And this app also doesn't scam you for your money like the others--which is awesome! I was beginning to worry about being able to find a free language tool app, but here it is! Love it. Would recommend it to anyone interested in learning Dansk!
I love this app. It has a simple U.I. and cool blue colors. You can slow down or speed up the voices of the male Danish speaker (who, hilariously, I find sounds cute.) and the boring robot lady who talks in English. You can switch to a mode where the Danish speaker says a word or phrase 8 times then is translated so if you were vacuuming the carpet or just jogging or even about to go to sleep, it's just good to get the sound of the tone of the words in your head. There are other modes like 7 or so, so that's nice. Anyway, this app isn't super complex it's just a good starting point for anyone who wants to learn to speak Danish. Happy learning!
