SBW

This is both a review of the app and the bank! I have been a client of SBW since my first job in 2010. I have never been happier with any other bank (and I’ve moved around and changed banks every so often). The only times I’ve changed to a different, primary, bank, was when I moved because I wasn’t able to figure out how to do my banking with SBW still. That is no longer a factor, and they will remain my one, and only, bank! When they made the app, it was sort of clunky. Some of it felt weird to use. I must say, this current app is a huge improvement! There’s still some features I want to figure out (like how to save an account to transfer to that is also an SBW account), but the app is easy to use and intuitive for the most part. I just haven’t tried to figure out the same-bank transfer (but easily figured out Zelle). If you’re an SBW customer, I highly recommend the app! You won’t regret having a little bank in your pocket!

I’ve had my account for many years and I don’t believe I will be leaving the bank anytime soon. I am so appreciative of the fact during the holidays I received a call from their fraud department. They called kind of thinking it was silly to call, the branch that called knew me. They said “ I am pretty sure you are not in Russia, but I need to ask if you are in Russia trying to make $1,268 purchase in a department store? “ I was astounded and I was at home locally. That is just an example of them actually looking out for their customers. I’ve never had a bank look out for my accounts like SBW.

SBW isn’t a massive bank, like some out there, and I don’t expect their app to have all the features that something like Bank of America would. Still, this works, and it’s reliable. The addition of Touch ID/Face ID was a huge improvement, and allows me to do just about everything quickly and easily. Once again, SBW shows why they are rated so highly: quality products that do what they should.
