Village Taxis (Liverpool)

I’ve been using Village for years, and the drivers are excellent—kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. But the apps have gone from bad to worse to even worse. The current version says drivers are ‘Unavailable’ once you’re beyond 3 miles from their office. If you call you can get someone, but not on the app. So I just use Alpha for those rides, even though I prefer Village.

I’ve always used Village as they’re local to me. But having used the app previously I’ve recently had to re-install it. It asks for my email but doesn’t recognise any of my email addresses. I tried to create an account but my number already exists So even though the app was useless, it’s note not possible to see if it’s better

Not very good. What's the point of tracking the cab when you're already in it? Plus notifications of the taxi arriving etc always come in a lump together about 20 mins after I've arrived at my destination. Luckily I still get the text messages saying when the cab has arrived and the registration number etc. will stick to the phone for ordering!
