Historically decent, terrible update maintenance

This app has historically been pretty reliable but a few of the recent updates have complicated its functionality unnecessarily. Most recently, there’s been “required information” features added to the request submission process (for pothole repairs, for example). The problem is that there is nowhere to actually submit that required information and therefore submissions can’t be made 🧠🧠🧠

Good citizen tool

This is a great way to help citizens report problems to the city. I wish it had some more features . It would be nice if we could pay our water bill and so on in the app.

Buggy app, lousy results, it has become useless

This app started out great as a way to report problems to the city of Asheville. It was a buggy and would crash about every third or fourth time, but the worst problem was that about a third of the requests were never dealt with. Recently began getting replies on two and three-year-old requests that have never gotten dealt with. Now the app really works and has crashed the last five or six times I’ve tried to report something. This app is a great way to report problems to the city, but much of the time the city just marks the issue as complete, and nothing is done. There is one sidewalk hazard I reported six times over two years and every time it is marked completed but nothing gets done. The request is generally marked complete as soon as a report is filed to whatever department supposed to take care of it, but there is never follow-up to make sure it’s done.
