Maths pace is very easy to use but I really wish I could just type in the numbers. Drawing the numbers in nice, but since it is the only option it write my answer, I get lots of answers wrong because of it. I might try to quickly write 21 and it will think 2 to the power of 1 and I get it wrong. Or it might think I wrote a different number. Very annoying. Apart from that mathspace is pretty good.
The touch is great, the way it looks is great, however when you get something wrong there are no tips and if you get something right after that you are not awarded no points. There are a lot of features missing such as the ability to skip questions and there is no multiplayer. If an activity is not set for a student it can be extremely hard to find another one that they are currently working on, and you get no points for doing them. Each week we need to get 250 points and after you finish doing all the set work it is extremely hard to find something else. A lot of features are wasted where the work should have gone somewhere else.
Sometimes the submit button disappears, I get answers wrong only because the questions are hard to understand in the way that they are worded, it’s really unclear what types of answers we need to put down... half the day I had this app I didn’t even notice the “lesson” button. Tell me why there isn’t a dollar sign when answering. I write down $ and it turns into 15. This could have potentially been a good app. I don’t know whether it’s just me but being in top extension and being one of the top people along with my friends, we still get half of the answers wrong because the multiple choice question answers fool us. When your questions say ‘choose all that apply’ and for example we get one answer right and the other wrong, tell us which is right so that we don’t have to keep working out which one is wrong. It’s a tedious process just to answer one MCQ question. Fix these bugs and the way you word your questions and maybe you could get a 5 star rating.
