Reorder Contacts - Reorder It!

I have some pretty large contacts with multiple phone numbers, emails addresses etc. When I update them, I can use "re-order it" to put the more important phone numbers/emails/etc in the contact at the top, or wherever I want to put them. Why Apple does not include this capability in their own "contacts" app is surprising to me. I have been using this app for years over multiple versions of iOS, different iPads and iPhones, without any problems whatsoever. Works great as of iOS 17. Thank goodness for this developer who created an easy to use app for this purpose. It is an incredible timesaver when updating a contact with a lot of fields. Glad to see that it is occasionally being updated. For those who don't understand how it works, find the contact you want to reorder (the app includes a helpful search bar), select the field that you want to re-order (email, phone etc), then using the 3 line "hamburger" bars on the right hand side, "press and hold" to change the order of that field. By default, the "delete" option is turned off. You can turn on (bottom right hand corner) if you desire to delete fields in a contact. Note: The app will not show a contact that does NOT have multiple field entries for the contact type you are looking to rearrange. This makes sense as it reduces screen clutter, though I could see it might be confusing to some.

I am so glad that I found this app. I was surprised that Apple did not figure out that people would be putting information into contacts out of order. I tend to be rather helter-skelter about my information and data so this is really a lifesaver. Thank you very much.

Quick and easy solution for an inexplicably longstanding iOS contacts editing glitch (missing feature). Intuitive controls. Uses barstacks on side for reordering. Thank you!!! One thing I’d request would be an alphabet on the side to make it easier to move through the contacts, but this app is already so great that I would give it 11 stars right now if I could. Apple, hire this developer or buy the rights to this app to incorporate its features into the built in contacts app.
