I think this is a wonderful app for learning new vocabulary; not only the definitions but samples sentences with a picture to help further and better understand how to use the word properly! I love this app and highly recommend it to others wanting to increase their vocabulary!

We bought a new iPad just so our kids, who are homeschooled, can use Knowji everyday. With top-notch customer service, a quiz function, proper pronunciation, and entertaining characters to help with memory, this intuitive vocabulary app is unbeatable. Our 8th grade son had been going through Knowji's SAT list for about a year when our only iPad broke. Now that school is starting, we finally replaced it because we feel this app is worth the price of an iPad as our kids truly benefit from this incredibly effective vocabulary tool. There just isn't anything else like it on the market. As soon as I saw that Knowji has a PSAT list, we had to have it. This year, our 4th grader will also be starting vocabulary as part of her daily assignments with Knowji 3-6. I might even have our 6 year old try Knowji 3 since she reads above grade level. Why not? Knowji is also a fantastic tool for ESL learners. I wish it was also available online so that anyone with internet access could benefit from this outstanding tool without having to purchase an expensive iPad in order to use it.
