CALC Smart Calculator ±

I purchased this calculator and have enjoyed it for years. It was advertised as one-time purchase. Now with the latest version it is popping up a subscription authorization screen every time I press the equals button asking for a subscription. It has also disabled a lot of the unit conversion functionality. You can’t offer a product as a one time purchase and then years later after the sale come back requiring me to pay you more money. If this is not resolved soon I will delete the app and never purchase anything else from this developer. UPDATE: this has been fixed and is no longer requesting a subscription. Thanks for fixing this. I will update my review.

I do not use any other calculator…on my phone or off. This is simply the best. It does way more than what I need for my modest math requirements, but it also is perfect for what I need. Especially love the ability to erase parts of equations if I make a mistake and the conversions capability is superb, too. I’ve used this app for years and will not switch.

I searched and searched for a decent calculator for my Apple Watch. After deliberating the cost, I finally went for this one. It has the features I need/want, and works pretty well. I like the haptics feedback when typing. For some reason, I couldn’t add the complication to my watch face from the phone app, so I had to do it on my watch. It took me a bit of time to figure out how this app works, but I think it’ll be easy and fast to use with time/practice.
