FlightStats

1) love the app UX 2) hate being tracked for marketing / other reasons I opened the app for first time since Apple updated their new privacy rules. App asked if they could track. I asked app not to track. Next was presented with a page stating they use advertisements to keep app free and to accept or ‘not now’. Click not now **what happened following left a bad taste** Proceeded to take me to a further page we’re I need to accept the tracking ( all selected ‘share’ by default). I have ability to deselect all, but it’s cumbersome and confusing. Additionally when you into enough screens you have only ‘Accept’ to get out. Otherwise you have to hard kill the app to not be forced to accept. The number of companies that the show as partners appears to be over 400, I lost count halfway through and many of these partners are all over the globe. It was difficult where these partners came from. Was not able to see if it was OneTrust or if it was Cirium/LexisNexis I wanted to see if I could change settings. As a test I selected 1 partner to permit tracking with and entered the app. I was able to make changes to cookies, however the list of partners was randomized and seeing one or two while scrolling was difficult without knowing what the name of the ad partner was. 3. Will delete FlightStats and find a different app

I have been using FlyStat for several years now and it has been very good for the most part I import highly perishable goods using airlines, with shipments from all over the world and I have to be able to see and know exactly where my cargo is at all times. I do like that it remembers my airline and flight numbers as They are the same most of the time from our regular suppliers making it much easier to look for the arrival time. The reason why I gave them 4 instead of 5 is because I have on a few occasions had incorrect information about the flights arrival time however it is usually the problem is brief and I do report it to them. For the most part I truly like the app and it is my first go to for fight information and I recommend it all the time to others

This app is a great tool for any rideshare driver. I use it daily and am giving five stars to encourage further development. I search for flights by Airport each time I open the app, arrivals or departures depending on where I am in my routine at the time... Some things I'd like to see in future updates: The ability to query arrivals/ departures more than just 1hr intervals. Perhaps a broad overhead view of the entire day listed as number of flights (arrivals or departures) scheduled each hour. I'd like the ability to decipher which of flights are ending at my airport rather than simply "connecting" flights. But then again come to think of it, that information would be specific to each passenger so this may be impossible. If this data IS accessible tho, consider this a pro version feature or in app purchase. Consider removing the "off hours" so that users can't query hours when there are no scheduled arrivals or departures. This would increase efficiency for the user as well as for you in the form of performance. Consider an updated UI. This one isn't a deal breaker per se but as someone who's used your app since about October 2016, I will admit that my first and overall impression was that it feels clunky, and dated. People judge apps like a book by its cover and tbh I would have passed this app up for one that looked more "modern". Consider a cleaner interface and trading the dark theme for one on the lighter side. Give me the option to open the picking up where I left off. Like I said I use it for arrivals/ queries for my local airport. Rarely do I track one specific flight. Consider letting set notifications for things like "high volume" arrivals or unusually high volume of departures at off hours. Etc Keep up the innovation! The potential is here for more than just a flight lister/ sorter. Thanks for listening! -Eric
