Flightview - Flight Tracker

I am updating my review as of August 2, 2026. Today I am tracking a return flight to Boston from Athens. Finally in the trip list it tells the actual status such as scheduled, in air, or delayed. The flight says it's in air good! Then when you go inside, it tells you that it has so many hours to go and when it will land. Great! And I actually did finally get a sound notification which I hadn't been getting before. When I first opened the app, the flight had already been in the air for five hours and no matter how much I tapped on the update for the map it still showed the plane sitting in Athens, but later on it caught up with things. I hope that isn't going to happen all the time, but it seems like most things have been fixed and thank God because no other layout of any other program is as easy to use as this app. It's just that for some reason for a long time they weren't fixing the things that weren't working so hopefully it will continue to improve and I still wish we could see the map before the plane takes off.

Well there are a few nitpicky things I could mention here overall the app works really well and I fly a lot. I have 27 flights between now and the end of 2024 and the app handled all of it with ease on my iPhone 15+. The first thing I did was pay for the one year subscription to get rid of the ads because within 10 minutes I could tell the app was definitely worth having for someone like me There are a few things I would improve or in terms of editing information and things like that but once you figure it out you kind of get the logic of where they're coming from. Not exactly the way I would design some of it, but all in all this thing is great. It certainly a major improvement over checking my bookings on United or Singapore Airlines or whatever. Having all of my flight information in one place that is being tracked constantly so I know about delays I can see where the flights are coming from all the stuff it's just really good. I gave it four stars instead of five just because I think there could be improvements and the overall management of existing flights primarily with editing which I found kind of clunky and hard to figure out at first but I managed to figure it out without reading a manual or anything. So bottom line… If you fly as much as I do you should definitely get this app and pay to remove the ads because you can't use it without removing the ads there's no way especially when you're at an airport and Tracking what's going on with your connectors and stuff two thumbs up! 👍 👍

I am a former subscriber to a paid app for flight tracking. It is no longer in existence. I am an EA and track flights of multiple airlines simultaneously. I am grateful someone had the brains to keep a multi-carrier tracker app alive with many features from individual carrier apps. It is helpful to know where a plane is coming from when you schedule flights or are watching connecting flights. Spare planes are a tad expensive to have sitting parked at airports just waiting to be used so if your inbound flight is departing from a location impacted by weather that connecting flight you need to catch may not happen. Having an ability to see all the puzzle pieces allows me to change flights ahead of the crowds at airports waiting in customer service lines and keep my bosses moving. Even better, knowing where flights come from allows me to choose flights and routes based on point of departure. A Toronto connection is probably wiser in summer versus winter and so on. This app is a tool I depend on. Like anything else it can always provide new and different information but the creators of this app are updating and improving continuously so I have no complaints. Good app to have if you deal with travel to any degree.
