The two places I go to find out what I need to know about our wonderful city are the Savannah Morning News and the Current. Keep up your great work!

I’m from Savannah and try and visit about twice a year with each body lasting six to eight weeks. My wife is buried at forest lawn along with many family members. I’m a commercial high cobra club member. I read this paper from my I phone keeping up with Savannah and of course the obituaries. Thank you, Mike Chandler Commercial High Class of 1956.

SMN has excellent local reporting on stories of both local and National scope. The paper’s coverage of environmental, local politics, community issues, and sports are especially good. The syndicated stories are mostly pulled from the AP, which is good even coverage, but the local reporting is excellent and well worth the price of subscription. (I’m a digital only subscriber)
