Really really useful app. This is the glue for me to maintain my workflow while on the move. The app was disappointing when I started using it last year, but over the past 6 months I’ve seen tremendous improvements. Especially like the monitors, messenger and absolutely first class market data and news feeds.
- needs better charting capabilities - needs better news feed with the ability to share to other Eikon users - needs better layout for “dashboard”-esque views - needs more info on the overview pages
The Eikon app is very disappointing. Functionality and speed is unacceptable for an expensive service. List and charts are very slow to load (or do not load at all). Free apps such Stocks and Yahoo Finance have superior performance. Outside news pages you cannot adjust the font size. Refinitiv have an issue here...professional investors do spend time away from their terminals and thus require a functioning smartphone app.
