We’ve used the app since September and LOVED it! Our kids 10, 7, and 4 have been earning points and monsters like crazy! We’ve never encountered a single problem until about 4 days ago! First, three of my son’s chores randomly disappeared. He literally CANNOT find clean room, feed pets, and one other one i forget. Literally gone. We deleted and reinstalled the app....its straight up gone! We even checked Mothership and those chores are THERE set up as daily with all the same Settings as all his other daily chores! So weird! There’s no way around it. So four days of chores just vanished and then today, it happens to my daughter! :(. Now she can’t see FOUR of her chores to do them or see them. Any ideas? I love the app and their independence with it but it’s useless to us if it doesn’t remind them of chores they need to do, or allowed them to do them or check them off! Basically becomes pointless at that point! Help! So this was a few months ago, and you fixed it, and now, it just is broken again! It is saying “connection error” constantly. It will not let my children login, they can’t see their chores they can’t click them off and therefore I can’t approve them! Help! This has been going on a few days! I have restarted my phone multiple times, we’ve deleted the app and reinstalled it, we’ve closed and reopened it, you name it.

My sons are getting older and they respond best to getting rewarded for good behavior. But I needed a way to reward them that wouldn’t bankrupt me, pump them full of sugar and get them to understand they have to do the little things daily to get the big prizes at the end of the week. This app is PERFECT for that! I can assign point values based on the task (5 pts for smaller things like getting dressed and putting shoes away and 25-50 pts for bigger things like staying on green at school or taking out the trash) and they can watch their points add up to get their prizes like screen time, candy or a movie with Mom or dad. They are already asking to “earn points” and the app is really kid friendly. I gave 4 stars because it’s still a little buggy - some of the photos change on the tasks which don’t correlate (like the out away shoes task doesn’t always show shoes, sometimes it shows the image for toys or brushing teeth) not a huge deal, but when your littles don’t read it makes it tricky for them to choose the right task completed. I’m sure this will be addressed in a later update. Overall, this is a great FREE app that’s not full of ads or limits on what you can do with it.

The first day I downloaded this app it was awesome, I have the parent version Mothership and my kids have the kid version Chore Monster. I set up my account and added my children, then added chores. They were excited and I was too, they did all their chores and I got the notification when they were done. BUT today the next day when I try to add a chore it lets me go through the process, but at the end it tells me that it can't add the chore because of connection Andi need to check it. Guess what my connection is fine matter of fact I am writing this review on the same phone that I am getting this error. The worse is that I can seem to get help. I looked through the FAQs didn't see anything to help so I try the contact for more help and it tells me that I don't have mail set up. I went to my account setting and I do have an email on my account. Then I go-to the app store to check and see if there is help there and here I am... I click on app help right beside where I clicked to write this review and guess what nothing there. So I do the only thing I know that is left to get help with this app.....
