UPDATE: Changes were made to this app, including much easier printing, that make it just as easy to use as the old app. The settings allow you to choose your default tab, so I’ve set it to open to the print version. It works just as well, now, as the old app. Gannet decided to eliminate its dedicated app for subscribers to read the electronic version of the newspaper. They incorporated the functionality into this app - and it’s awful. Printing, which we do for the puzzles, now takes five or six steps instead of one. If I magnify the page to read, like obituaries, it jumps repeatedly to the previous article unless I’m very, very cautious with how I move the screen. And of course, now we have ads popping up, which was probably the reason for the change. Granted, this is my first experience with reading the enewspaper on this app, but I hate it. If you can’t bring the other app back, please fix these issues pronto!! I have been a subscriber for at least 30 years.

I live north west of Green Bay, almost two hours and appreciate your story section for local stories. Though not living in Green Bay, a number of your stories answer what I would think are common questions for residents about “what ever happened to”. I marvel at the depth and quantity of coverage about the Packers and like the addition of a mini USA Today for broader news and sports coverage.

No support, only can access this one app with subscription through this app. I sent an email two weeks ago asking how I can enjoy all the benefits of a digital subscription, mainly wanted to use the print edition app. I was asked my address and phone. Replied, never heard back. So I canceled my iTunes digital subscription. The only thing I can use my subscription for is the mobile app on one device. The support is nonexistent and disappointing. Even when I sent another email that I’m going to cancel, I heard nothing back. Not truthful advertising when I signed up for more based on the article of benefits of a digital subscription. For the price I can get equivalent free news. Also, keep all the sports off the main news page. At times it seems like half is sports.
