The internet website requires a correct profile number, PIN number AND password however the App Suite only requires a 5 digit pin. Why has Nedbank lowered the level of security? Correctly guessing one PIN number is infinitely easier than trying to guess 3 different numbers correctly. Your credit card has a PIN number which is appropriate security for one account, but the same security is not appropriate for access to many accounts and elevated capabilities.
Any positive reviews for this app must have been written by Nedbank employees, because anyone having to actually use it couldn't possibly stand it. It is a completely pointless app, you can only see the 10 latest transactions, and anyone who actively uses their bank account will not find this helpful at all. The UI is horrendous, I have small fingers and I still can't navigate it without hitting a button that takes me back to the main page - forcing me to login multiple times to check the simplest of things. It has not been updated to fit the format of the iPhone 5 - I guess Nedbank IT has written off this app already as a waste of development time. The worst part of this app-disaster is the fact that it loses context every time you leave it, so you CANNOT USE IT FOR INTERNET BANKING unless you can remember all the refs and payment details for any payment that you want to make because the app logs you out whenever you go check your mail etc. Last time I checked, photographic memories weren't a requirement for Internet banking. Absolute waste of -my- time. Another good reason to leave Nedbank. Twits.
But seriously - I almost didn't download this app after reading all the other reviews. I'm not sure what everyone was hoping to do but it does exactly what you can do online. It works fine with 3G all the time, anytime. I think it works great. Just saying.
