Jigsaw World

I have been using this app for several years. I started on my desktop, then switched to laptop, and now I am using this on my iPad. I’ve never had to login when playing because all purchases and puzzles automatically saved on my iPad and I could continue where I left off. Then all of a sudden logging into the game using Facebook or apple was required. I selected apple and ALL of my progress was immediately lost. Instead of the system combining my current profile on my iPad to my Apple login, it was deleted, and created me a new profile. I contacted Jigsaw World and they found my previous profile from Facebook and they transferred my Facebook profile to my new Apple profile. Now I have all of my puzzles.

It is a good game, adding the ability to create your own puzzle is very attractive. But I don’t think it is ready for release, the game typically crashes 2-3 times before it opens. How it interacts with my iPhone is a problem, it tends to move the main puzzle when moving just one piece, or it won’t move the piece your finger is on, it rather one or more pieces surrounding the piece you want to move, or the puzzle itself. I don’t believe that the designers made it compatible with Apple software. They got it sorta close and kinda usable but it is clunky. I have to also admonish Apple for allowing this into their games. Apparently they don’t spend enough, if any time testing the apps they allow. Also, I reread the privacy policy a little more in depth and I wonder why this game is monitoring my browser history? And why has Apple allowed this. I am also concerned that I have turned off all sounds in my preferences and yet this and other games are able to bypass my preferences and allow sounds. Apple apparently let that pass also, when I asked an Apple representative they could not give me an answer as to why that happens but they promised someone would get back to me soon. That was about a year ago.

I use to play this on FB, where it originated. I decided to get the app and play that way instead of on my laptop. The game started completely over, of course I connected to FB. I had puzzles, coins, xp on FB. Loaded the app took me through a tut. Never updated my FB game. I lost everything from FB. I went on my laptop yesterday, logged into the game, yep, lost everything. I started playing this, CSW, and tile twist in 2016 on FB, there were no apps for these games at the time. I’m level 19 in CSW. I’ve written the developers and supposedly they can’t restore anything. I spend a lot in CSW, real money to buy credits. Needless to say, yeah, I’m pretty darn upset. I work hard to earn my coins, xp, uploading pictures and get one from a friend everyday. To only find I lost everything. One more thing... there is no in game mail. Like in CSW and tile twist, we have an envelope that contains puzzles or pictures sent to us by our FB friends. The app nor the FB version have the envelope to go in and choose a picture from a friend. It pops up only when you log into the game. Once you click it off, only way to get to it is by closing the game then reopening it. Why is the envelope not in our menu? There is also no, ‘send to friends’ choice either. Why did you redo this game? Don’t fix something that’s not broken.
