Werdsmith: Writing App

I’ve been using this app for a couple weeks and I absolutely love it. I just started a new book that I’m really excited about and this app helps me keep track of what I’ve written and when to write so I don’t forget. However, I’m confused on how they save it. Like, if my phone is damaged or lost or has a virus, can I get it back? All it says is that it’s saved to my device, but where? On Werdsmith? Pls respond to this ASAP bc I really love my work and I don’t want to lose all of it forever. Also, I sometimes have really bad writers block and I kinda wish they added a little thing to unblock it. I still love the app, but I wish it could help me out when I’m stuck. I don’t want to rely on ghostwriter bc then it’s not my work. I understand they have another app called unblock it, but the reviews are really bad and I don’t want to spend money on an app I might not like. Plus $100 a year subscription is crazy. Understand u want to make money, but people won’t spend their hard earned money on something super over priced. Having a ton of people buy something really cheap is better than having almost no people buy something really expensive. Just a suggestion. Still love the app though!!! Definitely recommend!!!!

Werdsmith is soooooo amazing!!! 😻 I have always had a passion for writing so this app helps me grow my vocabulary and jot down ideas. And there is this feature that is great and horrible at the same time. It’s called ghost writer. Ghost writer is a feature where it will look at what you have written and come up with a sentence or 2 based on what you wrote. It’s great because it helps expand your vocabulary and have very great sentences in your story. But, I’m sure you’ve realized that if you were planning to go big with your story (like me) or turn it in for school, (like me) ghost writer would make it non-original and it even would be like cheating. If you are planning to do any of those things I don’t recommend using ghost writer. ( you also get 30 ghost writers for free and have to buy the rest) but over all this app is so amazing and has one more feature. You can have a set time for when the app reminds you to come on and write, and you can give yourself a goal for how many words you want in your story. My goal is 50,000 and I’m at 3,192 words. There is also a page where there are little tabs for you to write ideas, phrases, words, and e.t.c. That you wanna use. That is why I rate the app 5 stars and I think it is above an average writing app. I’m 9 years old.

Werdsmith is absolutely amazing. I’m almost a teenager and hoping-if possible- to finish this book I’ve been working on for awhile, and publishing my own copy to have, of course with the help of my parents and a publishing agency. But I’m not sure how to connect it to real pages and being able to publish for myself, and my friends. I’ve gone over all the buttons, and I’m wondering if I’ll have to rewrite (possibly by hand) my book and connect it to another app. I’m sure I’ll figure it out though, plus ghost type is amazing! it has given me a lot of ideas that I reword and use in my book. Honestly I love everything about this app. But this one time I got hacked so I was forced to delete Werdsmith for a week. When I came back my whole other story was gone. Which had atleast a couple thousand words. I understand that once you delete the app most of your progress is gone. But the thing is I’ve deleted this app before but my stories were saved. Is it because of the hacking? Is not could this be fixed? Otherwise everything about Werdsmith is amazing, thank you and I hope this helped some people.
