DaySmart Pet Software

We are small grooming shop, and have been in business for over 60 years. We were so old school with our clients, and keeping our records on index cards. We were always losing them, or getting them mixed up, and they sometimes just vanished into thin air. So when we heard about DayStart we did some research and thought it was to good to be true. Part of our problem was we have 9 groomers, and two locations, with two groomers who work at both locations. When we reached out to the marketing team, and discussed our needs, they said this system would work perfectly for us. Then we talked about pricing, and how everything worked. I went back to the owners of our store, and told them what they said. At that time it was not in the budget, so we had to wait until we started picking up. We got together and talked about it, and figured out how we could cover the cost. Then it hit us, we took the money that people paid for nail trims, and used that to cover the cost. We have had the system for seven months now, and it has completely changed our business. Each groomer has complete control over their own clients, and they love the real time notifications of when a client gets booked. They love that they can block time out for larger dogs, or more difficult ones. Our clients love that they get text and emails for reminder appointments. The system has been able to maintain both shops, and have had very little problems with dividing the clients making sure that the clients go to the right location, and groomer. So if you are considering using this program, please stop, and just do it. You will be so happy with your decision on doing so. Also, the customer service team is beyond amazing, and so helpful. They are right there when you need them for any questions or issues that you may have. In the seven months that we have been working with DaySmart, we have only had to contact customer support twice. Both times it was due to our mistake on doing something, and they had it fixed in no time. So again don’t wait just do it. Thanks again for everything, The Animal Castle Team. Dayton Ohio

Will charge you account but you can’t login because it says invalid payment credentials. I tried to use this company when I open my business 5 years ago and the screwed me over and kept charging me after I cancelled my subscription because there software was not what I wanted. I was going to try again this year because we expanded to boarding and they have the software for it but apparently they haven’t changed, so I highly don’t recommend

This has been an awesome app.... BUT this latest update has really messed it all up. I went to my first client today and everything was normal, cashed them out just fine; but at the second client it took me 15 minutes to try and get to the pet notes. The most annoying thing about that part is I now have to back out of the ticket all the way just to go in, click on the clients name, then the pet I need notes on (and my second client had 3!). Then there is the checkout issue... that too took me a few minutes looking like at idiot in front of the client trying to get them cashed out... with the way it’s set up now, if you click “credit card”, it does not give you the option of WHICH credit card (Visa, MC, Amex etc), it just stays “credit card. I use Square for my credit card transactions and have to have the amounts with which type of credit card match up, took me 10 minutes to figure out I now have to click “other” and my individual credit card options are there. It’s almost like Daysmart is trying to force you to use their credit card processing company, not a good move.
