Dictionary & Translator

This is my first review that I did write for application. I always get nervous to write my english comment on something like this bcuz I feel I’m not well in English but this time give it a try . This application made me feel I need to do something to say thank you and brave to be out of comfort zone and made this . This application is easy to be used for the beginner and get multifunctional for using in many diverse way like pronunciation, example and part of speech of the words. Really feel enjoyed to have this to learn . Big thank for you guys again Arttie from Thailand

Phenomenal dictionary, enjoying it a lot My feedback is to make the speech button bigger, or have the speech button increase in size when the font is increased (when I increased font it stayed the same size) This is because, regularly I will press the button 3 or 4 times and I can’t get it to activate (even while I’m looking and aiming right at the button!) If the speech button was bigger, I think I could have near 100% success, and that would be great Thank you for your work! Edit: More commonly, I press once and miss it, then look at it and press it again, making sure I get it Lastly, it would be great to be able to swipe to the right to go back. I have a book in my hand and balancing my phone so that I can reach up to the top left corner of my phone to go back seems very unnecessary after a few times. With a swipe to go back feature, it’d be as seamless and user friendly as Instagram Edit2: Wow, I can swipe to go back!

I love this app!! Not only do you get a bunch of different dictionaries with different languages to work with, but you also get voices that have accents to show how words are said, tests that test your knowledge and/or recognition in the languages, and phrase recognition. It recognizes phrases! And from what I can tell, it uses a bunch of different sources to find pretty much all the different words for one thing (the most prominent being listed first). Not only that, but it’s all offline!! The only thing you would need internet for is if you’re downloading new dictionaries or using the translator, where you type in whatever you want to translate instead of something for the search bar to define. The only thing I have to say about it is that occasionally it will pull up a (probably uncommon) English word that looks like the word you searched instead of in the language you’re trying to translate, therefore giving you something you didn’t want at all. Overall, though, I love this app!!
