Such a reliable, easy to use dictionary app. It’s intuitive in every way, gives you great suggestions when you misspell a word you’re searching for. Easily shows you pronunciations, synonyms, antonyms, specific regional words, spellings, and on top of that, it has a great list of historical names as well as places. It is my go-to dictionary app and I’ve used it almost daily for years and it has never failed me, if anything, it keeps impressing me despite its simplicity!

Love the app. 5 stars. My one wish: there was a setting to not include multi word matches; or a way to turn those off and on in the main interface. Sometimes there are huge numbers of multi word completions one has to scroll through. Example: fam includes a zillion family Xxxxx botanicals. Or words like lord that have many name completions. Personally I rarely or never am interested in multi, space separated, word matches. Sure, one can now search for fam* but the user does not get that instant list of matches

I personally go through dictionaries learning words as a way of amplifying my vocabulary. eDictionaries have been a goto for me to immerse myself within letters on the go. This dictionary is one I had always been searching for. Offline capability was my prime attraction and the beautiful part about it is the flexibility it gives you with finding words easily and looking up a word from another one you searched just by clicking directly on them. The UI is friendly enough and it just works. I only wish to pitch that it will be a great initiative to the developers to add a “Random” section where you can find random words, about 5, to learn their meanings. You can shake the or press a bottom to shuffle the next words and so on. I think it will really be a great feature to most users. But hey, I definitely can not complain as this app is totally free and I am loving every bit of it.
