I have Metro man apps for four other cities and they’re all wonderful. For Shanghai, I am not able to access anything on the metro. When I open the app, I can only get to a TaoBao application, wanting me to buy things. I reinstalled it and now when I open it, I can only get to something wanting me to buy insurance. I have not once been able to actually access the subway map or schedule.
This app is notorious for popping up ads that obscure the view, making it frustrating to use. The ads keep appearing and cannot be turned off. I was at the Shanghai subway station trying to look up my route and spent over five minutes struggling to get rid of the ads, which made it impossible to plan my journey. This is a terrible way to monetize an app.
Easy directions and tells you which route to go. Super easy to use. Strongly recommend!
