It does exactly what it says, plus extra. On vacation and renting a car + AirBnB? Need to pay for public parking the following morning, but want to sleep in? No problem! That’s exactly what I just did, and I’m taking time to write this with so much gratitude. Very much appreciate having an inconvenient situation made easy. 🙏🏻
The app interface is fairly straightforward to use. However, even after selecting English as the language preference, they still send messages and have ads in Hebrew. How do you know how to click out of an ad in Hebrew - or even if you should? Is it something important? It gets very confusing. Also, it’s almost impossible to find a way to get through to customer service. I finally found a “contact us” on their website and had to send an email. Still not very helpful. While in Jerusalem I parked in an area with a confusing sign mostly in Hebrew and used Pango to pay. Turns out I didn’t have it completely right and got a ticket. Now I’m being charged for the ticket and for parking through Pango. The app was no help in figuring out if the space was valid or not. So, I moved the car to a parking garage not realizing that the app was still set to continuous parking. So I got charged for the parking lot and for a day of street parking that I wasn’t even using. Bottom line, if you know Hebrew, take the time to carefully study the signs where you are parking and stay on top of the options in the app, then this is may work out well for you. Otherwise.....
Okay, I hate paying for parking; that’s a given. But what can you do? You wanna park, you are almost always gonna havta pay.... Pango has made that chore very simple. I still remember the days when you had to purchase parking cards, in advance. Then you had to use the machines, which were broken half the time or you didn’t have change. Pango is simple to use. I do not remember encountering any problems with the app. So, if you are going to have to pay for parking, thank goodness for Pango.
