I wanted to mobilize my desktop web application, and make it feel like a real mobile experience to access all my data quick for decision making. Microstrategy definitely does the job.
Compare it to the other "Business Intelligence" apps I've tried, such as SAP or QlikTech, this one is in its own class (may be why it took a while to come to market). It is missing some of the interface polish of RoamBI, but it has much greater analytical depth that a true business user would appreciate. A very rare and promising enterprise ready iPhone app.
It's easy to develop, easy to render, and as others have said already, it was worth the wait, it does a lot more than other BI apps do. What's nice about it is that each app can have it's own "personality", look and feel and navigation, so you are not locked into one way of developing your BI app.
