Travel Health Guide

I bought this app specifically because it does not need an internet connection, all the information is stored locally. It's perfect for traveling, in my case I cruise a lot so I like to be prepared with an all inclusive first aid kit and this app provided good information, especially which drugs were essential. I did not give it five stars simply because it does not look good. On my iPad the main page is squashed to fit on the page. Hopefully it will get fixed. Looks aren't everything, I highly recommend this app.

General info is ok but needs to be better organized and more info. I was looking for info on jellyfish sting and found jellyfish but all it said was dizziness . I did find more after digging through other headings. With as long as that took I could have googled it so what time did the app save me? Does have some good general info just needs more.

The information presented in this app is good. Easy to read and accurate. I rated it a 3 for its mediocre design and lack of information on anything cardiac-related such as chest pain, palpitations. The search feature is lacking and has much room for improvement. Many symptoms are missing and you cannot search for a drug. It would be nice to see the categories alphabetized or listed in a "head to toe" fashion. I really disliked the pop-up "STOP" window when opening some categories. I found it irritating and think the information could be placed in the beginning of the description. The drug reference table here is excellent. It's the best part of the app. The information is concise and the tabbed design is easy to use. The developer will need to make some major changes to make this app worth the full price of $7.99.
