App seems ok at its main functionality, but I’m giving 1 star (no stars if I could) because the app isn’t compatible with password managers. If you try to autofill a password, it doesn’t pass its URL to the password manager so you have to hunt and search for which site you want to autofill. Also the app does not let you paste into any of the password fields during sign up or sign in. Press and hold, double-tap, and Cmd+v with an external keyboard all do not work. For those of us who use password management apps to generate and store secure passwords for us, this makes it very very difficult to sign in to the app or sign up for a new account because you are forced to flip back and forth between your password manager and Apartment Finder apps trying to type 20+ characters of random gibberish without messing up and without one of the apps reseting when you leave it.
The app is good, but I HATE having to click into each place to see if they allow pets because while you can search for places that allow cats or dogs, you can’t search for places that don’t allow pets. As a severe allergy suffer, this is a huge deal for me because even going to look at the wrong place that is full of pet dander could lead to an asthma attack. If you can search by who allows which pets you should also be able to search by which places don’t allow them. Plus as a non-pet owner I don’t want to heat dogs barking all night in neighboring apartments.
Apartment Finder is a great app. I have been driving 41 miles to and from job nearly everyday for the past year and a half. After putting 42,000 miles on my vehicle in that year and a half I decided that it's time to move closer to my job, I have had enough of driving almost an hour each way. Found this app in App Store and found my next place to live. Easter weekend I move to my new apartment and drive only 18 miles to and from work.
