I was trying to find a period tracking app that is actually period friendly, since most Iโve come across consistently tell you โoh you want to look at or log a piece of information vital to tracking your period, accurately allowing you to notice inconsistencies that could reveal an underlying condition which many of often go unnoticed due to people not having this information tracked? You have to pay for that.โ Those apps annoy me sooo much, so I was looking through a bunch of reviews for loads of apps and found this one. I love it because it lets me track when my period starts and ends, my mood each day, it gives a list of symptoms and lets you pick how severe that symptom was that day (and even lets you add your own symptoms in case you have one they didnโt list), thereโs a section where you can type out all of your own notes with specific info, and it has some challenges that are open for non premium members. I am currently trying one that uses mindfulness and meditation to help relieve pain. The best part about it is that almost everything they have is open for everyone to use for free, but there are loads of perks for premium members. I am not one myself, but I know that they have magazines, a symptom chart, even more health challenges, health and weight related tracking, and a whole ebook library. The app is fairly easy to use as well, which is also important for me. I can find everything quickly, and it quite literally only takes a single tap to start or stop tracking your period. Overall a great app!
Iโve been using this specific app for many years and tracked my period consistently for like 3yrs+ when I had my other iPhone, the unfortunate thing occurred where my phone broke and upon re-downloading the app on my new phone, I realized I have not backed up anything so I lost all my info over the years which I can only fault myself over. So make sure you Press Backup Now on Settings. As for the app itself, it is such a great app. It is extremely user friendly. You get so much out of the free version. The layout is also really nice, pretty, and straightforward on how to use it, input information. The period predictions are spot on, you just have to do your part and input in every month and it is accurate to the day. The nice thing is you can always go back to any day and enter the information/ periods if you forgot or couldnโt get to it on that specific day so thatโs really cool. Also like someone else said, it isnโt just a period tracker app for me as well, you can track your general health if you want to. They have everything from your own notes, medications, moods, weight, water, sleep, symptoms tracking etc. Itโs just such a remarkable app, I just wished I had knew to backup before which I do now. Otherwise itโs a 5/5 app for me and I think for you, it will be too!
Iโve had this APP for years! Itโs not full of frills or all kinds of extras that donโt really serve a purpose, and thatโs precisely why itโs so reliable! When I visit my OB/GYN, all I have to do is download the data so he has a snapshot of my cycles. This came in VERY handy when I began my expected menstruation that just kept on going! If this is TMI, Iโm not sorry because this APP potentially saved my life. After 2 full weeks of menstruating, I was able to pull up five years of documented cycles to support that 2 weeks, for me, was anything but normal! Because I was 36 years old when it happened, I was too young for any doctor to consider a little longer than the average female cycle a problem. However, once my doctor saw that I was not the average female & ALL of my documented via this app cycles for the past 5 years & actually my entire life lasted no more than 4 days and were NEVER heavy, he ordered tests right away. I had an emergency hysterectomy in which a 10lb mass was removed. A tiny fibroid went hulk because my hormones went crazy! Hormones change as we age, but mine went into hyper mode. Without this app, I would not have been able to provide the solid evidence my doctor needed to perform additional tests as early as 2 weeks of menstruation. If it had gone on much longer, I very well could have had a heart attack and/or died. This is 100%the truth! I no longer track periods obviously, but I still use the app to document moods as I go through an early menopause and frequency of sex.
