SMS Export

I bought the app, followed its directions, including installing its desktop app on my MacBook, and it worked on the first try. I was able to export into a text file and a spreadsheet on my Mac a seven-year-long SMS conversation that existed only on my iPhone, Including message timestamps etc. I could find no other, or more convenient, way to do this. The other apps out there want you to stitch screenshots - yeah right. The filtering capabilities in the desktop app were very helpful, and I liked the choice of export formats. I had a bit of a hassle turning off encrypted iPhone backups in iTunes, but that’s not the app’s fault. The only reason I don’t give the app five stars is because it could use a little UI and documentation polish, and maybe be free :) But it got the job done, and done well, in straightforward fashion.

Having lost my partner and getting a new phone, I needed a way of documenting our time together and not letting it go. This app was a savior that made my day and break down into tears once i succeeded. If you follow the steps, it works! Tho I ran into a couple hiccups, but emailed the company to get a response within 24 hours, which they included screen grabs and a better description as to what I was missing. Only thing I would suggest is letting the user know, to go into settings and allowing the app to do its thing. This was told to me later and had that been stated I never would of bothered the developer. But it’s all good, cause they did help, they wanted to help and I am 100% satisfied with getting the results I wanted for $5, as a posed to similar apps charging 50$+. Thank you for developing this app, thank you for the affordability and thank you for being an actual human who replies to clients concerns.

You have to install it on your phone, on iTunes on your PC, and download their application for the PC. Once you do this, it works exactly as they said it would. I searched for a while trying to find something to transfer my SMS files ok my phone to my PC and all the apps were $30 but this one did it for $5. Also, I had difficulty with it recognizing that I purchased the app at first. I emailed the support staff and they responded in 53 minutes with a solution that helped me get past my problem. I would definitely recommend this app if you are looking for a cheap way to get you texts from you phone to your computer. This won't be the prettiest looking app you work with and it may take a little extra work to set up by it gets the job done.
