Don't download this version if you're using an original iPhone or iPod Touch! You can't run the necessary iOS 4+ on your device, so won't be able to use the app any more! Older versions of Kids Paint were a lot of fun, and my kid loved the app. A non-running app gets no love, however.
My son enjoys this. It's very simple and straight forward. There's no color pallatte or brush size or any other tool to frustrate my 2 year old. He just gets to draw, shake, and redo. If you want to something seriously artsy, this isn't for you. But if you forget crayons and a piece of paper and your kid wants to draw, then this will certainly do. I couldn't say "fun and addicting" or anything, but he does enjoy it from time to time, and really likes that I can do screen shots and save his work.
This app is not a complicated. Its not designed for the user to over think. Thats what makes it brilliant. The first time i tried it, i didnt like it. Mostly because i didnt have the patience to figure it out. However, i gave it to my five year old to play with in the grocery store and he figured it in 5 minutes! He figured out that if you tapped the screen with two fingers it clears the screen. If you start a line on an existing line you can keep the same color. If you are the target audience for the iphone dont bother with this app. If you want an app that your younger kids can play with to keep them entertained long enough to do the shopping or stuck in line somewhere, then this is that app for you!
A painting app for kids with random brush sizes and colors! Once you start the program, you will be shown a blank canvas, just start painting! Shake...
