Basically stripe

If I wanted to use stripe, I would have registered with them. The app makes your believe they are a different company and they have their own terminal but after you register and pay, you have to connect with strip and go through stripe’s terminal

Really? Who's giving this 5 stars?

This app isn't terrible and does what it's supposed to do but it's a pretty JV operation. Basically this thing is just a user interface for a third party gateway called authorize net. They pay them to do the transactions for them. Which is all fine and dandy until you realize that authorize net is one of those companies that doesn't have any customer support. I can't find a number anywhere on their site which was really annoying and the only thing I can find is an FAQ page and a form that says they'll respond within 24 hours. I'd encourage you to visit the authorize net website if you think I'm making this up. Next, the company that does the actual processing is another third party that has nothing to do with CC Terminal or Authorize net. Try figuring that mess out when you have a problem with a customer standing in front of you. Next up was the $25/mo gateway fee which I can swallow, but there's just better deals out there.I downloaded a free app and they have a $25 monthly fee but they credit you back all the transaction fees for the month. This works better for me since I know I'm going to do a few sales a month. This app looks like it works fine but there are just far better deals than this. I'm bummed I wasted the $50 and wished I looked around a bit more. I just kind of assumed the higher price meant it was better. I give it 1 star based on value and service. I'm sure it works, but I just feel like I got burned on this one. Live and learn I guess.

I recently bought my iPhone and was anxious to get this app loaded. We are photographers and sell framed and/or matted photos at art and craft shows. Our previous credit card processing solution was using dial pay over the cell phone which was tedious and difficult at times and virtually required use of a bluetooth earpiece because of the need to listen for prompts while trying to type in data simultaneously on the phone. Doubly difficult if there is loud live music close to our booth as was at our last show. This app is really nice in comparison! It's so easy to simply put the information in and press "Charge". I'm really liking the ease of use. And the ability to email receipts to customer and myself is also nice.\nA wireless printing option would be very nice...\nOverall, very happy with this app.
