Unless you have a lot of patience, then don’t bother. Once you get past the initial setup where you have to write war and peace, you’re presented with a load of people that don’t even match your filters. To start with, I was presented with 3 men, so as a straight man that is pointless. Said no to a further 2 women, and that’s it, I can’t do anything until the next day as I’m out of swipes. I can understand why you ask for ID, but I really don’t feel comfortable sharing my driving licence or passport with a company that is a complete unknown to me. Especially when my driving license has my address on it. Deleted it within 20 minutes, and wouldn’t recommend.

In principle this is a great app, I believe there will be less scammers due to the sign up process. At the moment users are restricted to 5 swipes a day which, though frustrating is understandable until the user database gets bigger. My big irk however is that as a straight male who has his preferences set to women only, 3 of my 5 swipes a day are of straight males…. I can’t complain about this through the support contact on the website due to there being some kind of bug that won’t allow the contact form to send. I want to support you Cherry, don’t make it hard for me

After many years in the dating game I had given up on the apps because they were full of fake and disappointing dishonest men- I feel the difference with cherry is the verification process and the fact that if you’re looking for something more meaningful you will take the time to fill out the form which is more detailed on your sign ups, also has a better selection of questions for you to be clear about what you are looking for. I haven’t given up hope of finding love ❤️ thanks to cherry 🍒
