(Not Boring) Vibes

I don’t usually write reviews, but vibes is a fantastic app that truly deserves one. It perfectly delivers helpful music for all the things it says, focus, sleep, moving, and more the app is fun and easy to use and it really works. If you have good headphones and an Apple Watch or fitness tracker. It’s even better! I’m so impressed and I’m happy to support the company. Highly recommend for anyone looking to boost their daily routine with good Vibes ;)

I cannot stand silence, especially when I am doing something quiet like reading or writing, but I find typical music to be too distracting — most of the songs on my playlist are for me to dance or do cardio to, and are rather unfit for relaxation. I downloaded this app for something to play in the background, and for that it's perfect. There are five modes — Rise, Focus, Relax, Sleep, and Move — which fulfil their purposes extremely well. Playing Focus while I'm reading or writing actually, in my opinion, helps me focus and prevents my mind from drifting. You can customise the music's "energy" and its aural distance from you. I will start playing Move for my afternoon walks.

I’m telling you, this is something special. Simple in its task, blisteringly good results in purpose. If you enjoy musical soundtracks to your goings on, then this might just be for you. If you find yourself in a “festive headspace” tune and zone out to your Vibe. They say this Gameification of apps. This is art disguised as fun music. Do yourself a favor and test drive this app. You might even forget you downloaded it……until that serendipitous moment where its just the perfect fix.
