when i first downloaded this app a few months ago (moved out on my own) it was fine. they did an update a couple weeks ago and it’s been terrible ever since. i can never log in. it will either say it needs an update when it doesn’t, or it’ll be set up as if i haven’t made a payment yet. it’s so frustrating when you’re already struggling to pay this high bill because of their dumb 4-8 policy, but now when i can’t even pay in ease it makes me not wanna pay at all. i get hit with late fees i have to pay because THEIR site is down. and i don’t think that’s right. they’re quick to send you a late letter but impossible to get on the phone with. they only want to speak to you when you owe them money

It worked when it first came out, but it’s been getting worse and worse. It just sits there with the little dial turning and won’t load your bill, won’t load forecasts, won’t load anything. I have to get on my laptop to pay my bill or view anything. Update and fix your app, Evergy! I haven’t been able to pay my bill using this app for at least six months.

Update 10/8-They have changed the app again, so you can’t see your daily and month to date usage for your current billing period. Back to one star. UPDATE 9/6–The app has been fixed. I can see daily usage for the current billing period, and I can see the dollar amount of unbilled usage so there are no surprises at the end of the billing period. Hopefully they don’t change it again. As it is now, I think it’s a great app. —— The app was great until the first week of August, and then they changed it and now it’s usefulness is limited. Previously, I could use the “month view” to see my daily usage for the current billing period, and at the bottom of the bar graph, there was an estimate of what my bill was going to be based on projected usage. There were no surprises when I got my bill. All of that is gone now. No one you reach when you contact Evergy even knows there were changes to the app and website, so like the app, their usefulness is limited. They do a good job of tracking outages but no so good at provide information you need to be able to plan your usage.
