It took a bit of effort to get the tickets I purchased on the website to show up on the app. Then, When I arrived at the metro ticket machine, I hit redeem voucher on the app and nothing opened. From the App I could see an order number but not a ticket number. I entered the order number at the ticket machine but could not get a ticket. I had to find my email and scroll through that to find the tiny ticket number. Then I was able to get my tickets. I also purchased monjuic cable car tickets on the website and again had to use my email rather than the app to redeem the voucher. We ended up walking down the mountain instead of taking the cable car so I wasted money buying a round trip ticket. My overall experience is that the website was ok but the only helpful thing on the app was a map.

The good - It gives accurate routes to destinations.
The bad - I made a purchase online, when I received my order number and went to go redeem it in the app, it said that both my email and my order number were incorrect. When trying to contact customer service you get put through a loop of automated messages until a dead end. If you try to save the receipt to your desktop, it’ll save as a blank page. You have to order a ticket in person at a metro station. Customer service non-existent.

EDIT: I was on wifi, no VPN, and had a solid internet connection. Also what? An app that is used underground to make payments for a subway needs impeccable internet to even open the app? Did you even think through that response?
Downloaded the app, opened it, and it took literally 45 seconds to get past the preload screen. Then clicking anything, including ticket purchase, took at least 20 seconds. I’m not dealing with this. Maybe the app works well and it would have been useful, but I’m not going to find out. I seriously doubt that I would have dealt with anything but a buggy, stressful app, which is why I uninstalled this app 10 minutes after downloading it.
