Although it says calisthenics in the title, it does include weight training. You enter your goals (e.g. weight loss, gain muscle), any particular skill you would like to improve or learn (e.g. handstand, pistol squat), a mobility skill (e.g. splits), the equipment you have (e.g. pull up tower, kettlebells, resistance bands etc), how many days you want to workout a week, the option to add mobility work, and how long you’d like the workouts to last (it does recommend to let app pick to optimum time for more rapid improvement, but you can choose the time) and it generates a program for you to follow. The app is easy to use. Pretty much every exercise has different levels of difficulty. You pick what you think you can do at the start of the workout. You enter your reps and for some exercises the time. If the reps or time are greater than the goal for that set it suggests you move up to a more difficult progression. If the rep or time is too low, it recommends you regress. I am finishing my first week of the program and I have been blown away. Great workouts with great record keeping. It will be fun to see the progress in the level of exercises at the end of the program compared to the beginning. For the cost, this app overdelivers.

I’ve tried a lot of workout apps and tried to build my own routines but often that part got in the way of actual progression… This app also allows you to be as custom as you want, but the main selling point for me is the intelligent plan it develops for you based on your goals and schedule. It will design your splits and schedule for you, or take over and do as much or as little as you want. I find it to be really intuitive to use, especially compared to some of the clunkier workout apps I’ve tried. Used this for a couple weeks now and feel confident that it will be part of my routine going forward!

I’ve tried a lot of workout apps, but this one nails what makes calisthenics different — it’s not just about reps, it’s about mastering specific moves. I really like how the app breaks exercises into progressions so I’m always working at the right level for me. It’s simple, focused, and actually feels personalized. Being able to set a goal like a ring muscle-up and have the app walk me through the exact steps to get there is exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommend if you want to build real skill and not just sweat through random workouts.
