Loomerly: Loom, peyote & brick

While this app is very user friendly and I like it, I do have an issue with the color pallet. The colors are rather muddy and not a true representation of the color. For example, the red is not a true red. It’s more of a brown and adjusting the color only makes it a lighter or darker brown and there are already brown shades in the basic color pallet. This is just one example of the color pallet issue. Another issue is when creating a pattern and frying to make let say a customizes pink all of all of the existing patterns that have been made will change to that color pink. So the patterns I have created give an idea of what the finished piece will look like but not a true representation. And for the record it is not my iPad because I have downloaded cross stitch pattern designers and had no color pallet issue with those. Hoping for an update that will fix the color pallet problem. Reply to your answer. That doesn’t solve the problem. I have tried that. It just makes the color a lighter or darker muddy color. Also your updates have messed up some of my older patterns by adding extra rows to my earring patterns and making them off balance.

This app is the best. Easy to use, and great for tracking your progress as well as creating patterns. I have transferred all of my purchased patterns to Loomerly by using the picture overlay feature. I love that there are both peyote stitch and bead weaving options. I send Harry the developer an email with requests for some improvements, and he got back to me and made the requested changes! Given the responsiveness of the developer, I would say this app is well worth the investment. I also purchased (and would recommend) the Stitchly cross stitch app by Subtlabs. I find the mirroring feature very helpful, and love that you can mirror both vertically and horizontally. The program has also never crashed (a problem I have experienced with other craft design programs). If you are into creating bead patters or looking for a way to track you progress, I very much recommend Loomerly!
