So sorry to be so blunt, but while other astro vendors build well tuned apps, with great user interface, that are intuitive and actually work, this app, and especially this latest major update, is completely useless, impossible to understand, location settings don’t reflect real location, settings are not saved, confusing acronyms, text displayed in chines in places, which makes no sense, click on certain options does nothing, no in app feedback showing a change tool effect etc…incredibly disappointing considering the high cost of ioptron mounts!!!!
No idea what has happened to this once useful app. Under IOS26 it appears to be non-functional. None of the settings work, no targets available, no reticule, no connectivity to my iOptron mounts. I’ve deleted and re-installed the app but this has made no difference to the outcome. Right now it’s completely junk on my iPad. If it’s not fixed it’s going to be deleted.
The app isn’t bad and responds quickly but not only does the text switch from English to what I presume is Chinese but the app also doesn’t work unless you sync your time and location every time you connect to the mount.
