Torque App: Car Check, Tracker

You are looking for the Torque Pro app, available on the Google Play store but unavailable on iOS. This is NOT that app, despite the developer’s best efforts to fool you by using the same name and same logo as the real Torque Pro app. In this knockoff iOS version, the functionality you’re looking for does not exist. But you can’t find that out until you pay for a subscription because every single part of this app is behind a paywall. The developer is a grifter who did this because he knows that anyone using this app for more than 30 seconds will realize that it isn’t any sort of substitute for the authentic Torque Pro app. In fact, it’s nothing more than an attempt to exploit consumer confusion. It should be banned from the App Store for that reason alone.

I bought this under duress as other apps failed to connect to some ECU. I bought this to try only to find out that it is not even an OBD related app. Scammers who have used the familiar icon and name for a stupid car diary app.Apple should remove this app and ban the developers from scamming people for six months useless subscription.

I downloaded thinking it was an obd2 app of the same name, but it only serves as some kind of logging app. It even tricks the user into an expensive subscription. When contacted requesting a refund, the developer doesn’t even acknowledge the communication. Apple should remove this app, to me it’s a money grabbing trap.
