In a world of disconnection, MyPlace is a welcome addition to nurturing community across the world. With My Place you experience human connection as you travel, something rare in other house sharing apps. Knowing that you are staying at a friend’s - or a friend of a friend’s place - made us feel like guests, instead of just users. In our recent Miami experience, we felt compelled to leave a bottle of wine and a note in gratitude. And now we have a new friend!

For some such as myself who’s life is primarily spent on the road, finding MyPlace has been a god send. The constant changing of location, bouncing from hotel to Airbnb to hotel, starts to leave one feeling a bit alone and disconnected from others. But with MyPlace staying in a friends or a friend of a friends place, makes the road feel a lot more like home.

I love MyPlace. Sharing my home has not only allowed me to have multiple homes and travel cost effectively by sharing other’s homes, it’s a real community - you’ll make friends too. Come for the home sharing, stay for the people.
