Was reading the story from FB so I downloaded the app to read the rest. No it is not free! I was invested in the story so I purchased a week subscription. The author had 2 different ideas and put the book together. There is not anywhere to comment to the author and when I addressed it with the app, I was told they cannot interfere with an authors creativity. Sure but what if it’s improving ideas for them. The beginning of the book changed about a quarter of the way in. The rest of the book was pretty good but no ending. Disappointing app for sure! Just pass!

First, the app is quite difficult to use even from getting to home page from any story. Then, the stories are very inconsistent. You would start off with one story, then it starts to take a turn into what seems like a completely different story. You get confused with what happens to the characters in the beginning, name changes, writing styles. I wouldn’t question it if it was just one story, but it’s many. It would start off great with a certain writing style, then changes into what seems like a copy and paste/taken from other authors with name changes type of story. The writing style becomes choppy, then you lose interest in the story. There are other apps with better stories and ease of use.

The stories are short (like usually 15 chapters or less), dumb and mindless. It’s perfect for a busy person just wanting a quick read. Is $15 a week expensive? Yes, but I’ve also paid by the chapter for 1000+ chapter books before, so I’m not the best gauge for that. As for cancelling, you have to make sure you choose “Apple” and not anything else (like “PayPal”) when you first pay to have it show up on your Apple subscriptions page. Then it’s easy to cancel. Personally, I enjoy the really short, repetitive, and dumb stories. But it’s not for everyone.
