Uber Pro Card

The Uber Pro Card app has been reliable overall. The core functionality works as expected, and I have rarely run into connection issues or inaccurate information. That part is solid. Where it falls short is in a few details. The notifications are delayed, sometimes by minutes and sometimes by hours, which makes them useless since the deposits show up in the app faster than the alerts. The way deposits are displayed could also be improved. During the day deposits are grouped into a total, but once the day closes they get broken down into individual items, which quickly becomes cluttered for drivers with high volume. Keeping the daily total view separate or better organized would make things easier to track. Another issue is the constant pop-ups with irrelevant suggestions. They clutter the screen and should be removed. The categories for cash flow and spending are not intuitive. They either need to be redesigned to make sense for drivers or dropped completely. Right now they just take up space. The savings features are also weak. The advertised fuel savings come out to about four percent, but most gas stations in my area charge extra for credit transactions and pre-authorize large amounts that tie up funds for 24 to 72 hours. When you do the math, it is cheaper to pay a small debit fee, get the cash price at a discount station, and buy your own fuel additive. Lastly, the transfer fees on the card are steep and should come down. Overall, the app is dependable but cluttered and needs real adjustments to make it practical for drivers who use it daily.

Uber has been a fantastic experience for me. I have enjoyed doing overdrive and other than maybe two bad experiences including this last transaction it has been a great and successful partnership between me and Uber. When they did have a call center and we were able to call in, it was very, very smooth and the support team are exceptional and finding the information that you need and giving you information that even that you don’t know you need, but you need. I would highly recommend the beginner to get the Mentor because I missed out on that and I don’t know if I can get that back again. However, I’m at platinum almost reaching diamond level, and it’s definitely worth the trip. I would recommend to any person who is interested in doing it to make sure that they devote either the daytime or the nighttime to doing Uber and build up points as quickly as you can by taking as many rides as you can. Open yourself up to many different areas in your city not just a local area if that is possible for you, and you receive more than just money as compensation. For riders that reach gold standard they will be a candidate for free Rosetta Stone for one year and also free Arizona state online tuition and then lastly a Costco membership reach platinum level and VIP rides all day long when you get to diamond which is where I’m headed. So Uber is a lot of fun. It’s a great job to have and also another great benefit. Is you get to write the miles off at the end of the year on your taxes and it’s a good payout! This app and card is awesome as an uber driver. The notifications at the end of every trip induce dopamine very well too. My only gripe with it is that I can not instant transfer to other cards for the low fees anymore, hence I has to stop auto withdrawls. Also, I use Yotta savings to get free lottery kickers when doing direct deposit. IF this app processed as a direct deposit from our business account paying our personal account, then it would be best in class. Since deposits to other banks from this card does not process as a direct deposit, we are not allowed to benefit from direct deposit perks from other bank accounts. Create a creative solution to make our business pay us as individuals via direct deposit and it lets us properly separate our business expenses from our personal expenses. Presently, this business debit card is good, but it’s too easy to fall for the trap of using it for personal use also when instant transfer fees are so high and there is no “direct deposit” option into our personal accounts.
