Charlie in Underworld!

I played the first game and absolutely loved it. The characters, the plot, the artwork is amazing in the first game. It made me extremely emotional and I loved it so much however this game didn’t really live up to what I expected considering how the first was. I do like the character designs and art still but I feel like the plot is lacking. I feel like this game was very repetitive and easy to predict what was going to happen. The ghosts went crazy and your character had to help and figure stuff out is basically what it was. I still do like this game and it was fun to play but it was kind of frustrating especially because the same thing was happening over and over. Also Charlie’s characters pronouns were kind of confusing. In the first game it referred to Charlie as a girl she/her but in this one all of a sudden it was they/them which was sort of confusing and I didn’t understand if they were specifically talking about Charlie or multiple characters when it referred to Charlie as that especially because it previously had Charlie referred to as her. Additionally, the way Eugene and river acted seemed out of character considering their actions in the first game. I understand that river was upset a lot in this game but it was strange the way it was presented considering that’s not how she’s characterized and Eugene is such a crybaby in this game and usually he just cry’s and asks what they should do which is weird considering how the last game was Eugene discovering himself and beginning to make his own desicions and like/trust himself so having him act like a crybaby who can’t make choices was strange. Overall I did like the game but these minor things bothered me😭

I love the fact that this game is based on Charlie Like if you had not it made Charlie in the first game this game WOULD NOT EXIST! ❌❌❌ And it’s like text messages like on a phone Which I think is super cool 😎 and the fact that it has parts where you can choose what to say and that’s where the problem comes in: the having to watch ads bit I don't have internet Sum times | purposely misspelled | Like what if there was a time limit and when that time ends you get tickets 😁 And the fact that Charlie literally swears way more then anyone else in the whole game is so funny to me and I just love her and her storyline I cried in sun of the story lol And then we hav Eugene… he is kind and caring and he is self conscious and I can kinda relate to both Charlie and Eugene and when Eugene swears at the end of the game SpOiLeRs WaRnInG ⚠️ ⚠️⚠️⚠️ When river turns evil and Eugene says the f word I was surprised that he swore 😂 And that is basically the end of my review mk so definitely worth y’all’s time pls hav like a dif way to get tickets pls pls pls plssss I love this game so very much I hope y’all’s hav a great day / night 😉

I don’t usually write reviews but this honestly made me cried in a good way. I could relate towards the characters and all of them were written very well. I haven’t finished the game and haven’t gotten any of endings yet. So, my view may change. I loved the way Charlie was written, they were going through something even when Eugene tried to help Hayden, Charlie was the only one who got through because he understood what he went through, what they went through. It made me think that the “bad deeds” were actually just depression or the hurt they were carrying for a very long time that made them lash out or they could just be a bad person in general. My question would be not about the story, but about why there’s another app exactly like this but you have to pay for it? Is it a way to support you guys? Or does that app have different things in it?
