I tried really hard not to buy this app. I kept searching every few days for an app with global conflict maps, battle maps, strategy maps, etc. I really did not want to spend 10usd on it, but I’m ultimately glad I did. It is incredibly in-depth and offers some great historical information. My biggest complaint: it doesn’t have anything past 1900. I don’t really understand why. The current geopolitical atlas is not in here. There are no updates on battles in World War II, or looking at the changes made during the treaties afterwards. Ultimately, I’m begrudgingly giving it 5 stars, when it probably should be about a 4.5. If the developer doesn’t ever add things, I’ll probably change it to a 4.
Very comprehensive and good for tracking how empires generally moved from 2999BC to 1900. It would be easier to use if you could type a date in. Also if dates went to 2024 that would make it easier to compare to today, but for me looking to get into history and get a recap on what I missed, this is perfect and an absolute steal for the price
I just downloaded it and I love it, the usage is really smooth and it let you see the world map in “globe” mode that give me a better understanding of the distance. It’s a shame it just go up to 1900, hopefully we can get a second app from 1900 up to the 2000 but so far this is a great app
HistoricalAtlas is an application about the global historical map, which helps you fully understanding the historical changes from 3000 BC to AD 1900....
